Trisha's Crockpot Beef Stew

Ingredients:

  • 1-2 pounds Beaty Beef stew meat
  • 32 Ounces Low Sodium Beef Broth
  • 2 cups carrots…I used baby carrots cut into 3-4 smaller pieces
  • 2 large russet potatoes peeled and cut into 1/2 inch cubes
  • Medium yellow or sweet onion chopped (I don’t care for onions, so I only did 1/2 and that was still too much for me. Next time I’ll just use onion salt.)
  • 1 Packet Beef Stew Seasoning (I used the “Kinder” Beef Stew Seasoning.)
  • 1/4 Cup Flour 
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp Paprika

Instructions:

-Wash and dry produce

-Chop Russet potatoes into 1/2 inch cubes

-Chop baby carrots into 3-4 pieces

-Chop onion

-Halve the large Beaty Beef stew pieces (I didn’t have to halve them. They were already the right size.)

-Add flour, salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic into a 1 gallon Ziploc bag or a bowl. Mix ingredients.

-Add the Beaty Beef stew meat to the flour mixture and mix until all pieces are coated.

-Add the coated Beaty Beef stew meat, vegetables, and Kinder beef stew seasoning to the crock pot.

-Pour the 32 oz. Beef broth over the ingredients and stir GENTLY.

-Cook on high for 4-6 hours or low for 6-8 hours.
