Cheeseburger Salad Recipe
This cheeseburger salad packs all the flavors of a classic burger—without the bun! Crisp lettuce, juicy beef, melted cheese, and all your favorite toppings come together in a delicious, spring and summer time meal!
Ingredients
For the Salad:
• 1 lb ground beef
• 1 tsp salt
• ½ tsp black pepper
• ½ tsp garlic powder
• ½ tsp onion powder
• 6 cups chopped romaine lettuce
• 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
• ½ cup red onion, thinly sliced or grilled onions
• ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
• ¼ cup dill pickles, sliced
• ½ avocado, diced (optional)
For the Dressing:
• Worcestershire sauce to taste
• ½ cup mayonnaise
• 2 Tbsp ketchup
• 1 Tbsp yellow mustard
• 1 Tbsp pickle juice
• ½ tsp paprika
• ½ tsp garlic powder
Instructions
1. Cook the Beef: Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef, breaking it apart as it cooks. Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Cook until browned and fully cooked, about 7–8 minutes. Drain excess fat and set aside to cool slightly.
2. Prepare the Dressing: In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, pickle juice, paprika, and garlic powder until smooth. Adjust seasoning if needed.
3. Assemble the Salad: Divide the romaine lettuce among serving bowls. Top with cooked ground beef, cherry tomatoes, red onion, shredded cheese, pickles, and avocado.
4. Drizzle & Serve: Drizzle the dressing over the salad, toss gently, and enjoy immediately!
